.: Merry Christmas! :.

Merry Christmas...!
I hope you all have had the best Christmas ever...filled with lots of laughter and joy and that you got to spend the holiday with the ones you love!
Today it´s time for me to show you my last 365 card for this year...and this week we have no sponsors. And gives us the chance to play around with whatever stash we like!

And the sketch Pam gave us is fab! I mean, really, really fab! It gave me the opportunity to try something alittle bit different...You´ll see what I mean.... = )

And....Taa-daah! Here´s my, somewhat different, take on the sketch.
I used a regular cardbase and then attached another card on top of it. And this next card is a little bit special...it can be opened to show the inside...ohh...just look and you´ll know what I mean. ; )

With the flap just opened....See the neat folding?

...and here´s what it look like fully opened. Ain´t it pretty, or not?

*****

I have a few pictures I would like to show you as well....
This first one is taken on the early morning of Christmas Eve...and the kids are full of anciety!
It´s not easy to get a shot with all five of the looking good..or, at least, normal!

From left, to right....Vilja ( 4,5 ), Isak ( 11 ), Ivan ( 2,5 ), Minja ( 9 ) and last but least...Liam ( 7 ).
I so, so love them! They are the joy in my life!

*****
And this next picture is one I just wanted to share...think my little darling Vilja is simply adoreable sitting by the tree!

Hope you enjoyed my card ( and my photos ) and that you will take the time to write me a little comment to let me know you´ve been here.
Don´t miss out to visit 365 Cards...some goodlooking dt sample cards there...

And with that I´ll leave you.
Thanks for the visit and hope to see you back here next year!

To all of you, I wish a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year!

.: Super Sketchy Sunday :.

Hi...it´s time for another Sunday sketch at 365 Cards.
Yeah,yeah...I know....I´m a little bit late again, since it´s already Monday. But then again...time flies away way, way to fast this time of the year, don´t you think?

Ok...we also have a new fab sponsor this week. It´s Michelle´s Scrapbooking and More. She offers a 15$ voucher to one lucky winner.

Soo...let´s have a look at the sketch then. Lovely as alwas and I found it to be very inspiring.

And this is what I came up with. Anyone see the similarity between the sketch and the card...?Or do I have to state the obvious...?

I didn´t think of it until I saw them together like this. I accidentaly used the colors as on the sketch...red,white and blue.

Well...pop on over to 365 Cards and have a look at all other dt samples.
And don´t forget to give our new teammembers, Manoli Navarro and Wendi Robinson, a warm welcome! They are two awesome cardmakers and are sure to be a great inspiration to us all!
Manoli and Wendi....it´s gonna be sooo much fun having you along in the team! Can´t wait to see what craziness you two are gonna come up with.... = )
Have a wonderful winterday everyone...and thanks for stopping by.

.: Scraplagret för Scrapptorget :.

Hej, hej..!

.: E.A.D Design and Sunday sketch :.

Hi...and welcome to my late, late, late posting of this weeks Sunday sketch..

Sometimes life takes some twists and turns and you end up doing other stuff then you expected. That´s what has happened to me and as a result I´m late to show off my card for the Sunday sketch at 365 Cards.

First I would like to give a big thanks to E.A.D Design for sponsoring the whole team with some gorgeous stickers. They are also offering a big prize for one lucky winner of our challenges. So go ahead and check them out! = )

Ok..and here´s the sketch. Calls for a CAS card, don´t you think?

And here´s my take on the sketch.
I found some old Chatterbox papers..love those stripes! They never go out of style, right?

Don´t forget to check out all the other dt sample cards here. They are worth the time ; )
Have a nice day!

.: Sunday with Pixie Petals :.

Hi...!

I´m so happy to see you here.
Today we start our countdown to Christmas here in Sweden. It´s time to light the first, out of four, candles. It´s a very special day.

And it´s also time for me to share my Sunday card for 365 Cards with you.

This week we have been sponsored by Pixie Petals. Unfortunately, it seems like shes taking a break to re-arrange her shop. But keep checking it out...!

The Sunday sketch then...well, here it comes! = )

Perhaps I kind of cheated...concidering I added a few elements there...but hey! Rules are to be broken, right? ; )

I felt like doing an easelcard..and so I did!
I used the doilies that we were sponsored with...and the butterfly. I cropped one of the doilies, making one simple circle and then I used the left-overs to create the flower.

Ain´t she awesome! I just loooove her! She´s on of my new findings from KennyK Downloads.com . The have som seriously gorgeous...and naughty digis. I knew I just had to have some of them...
And I think that sentiment is very well suited with the naughty Santa´s babe, don´t you think so too?
Ok...hope you are going over to 365 Cards to check out the others sample cards. They´re fabbie!
And...please do come back here tomorrow when I announce the winner of my little RAK ! You don´t wanna miss that!
Well...that was all for now. Think I might be off to light the first candle with my family.
Have the best of days now!

.: Vintage Love Blog Hop :.

Hi...and welcome to another Sunday and the beginning of our blog hop!
I´m thrilled to announce that we, 365 Cards, are having a blog hop that we call "Vintage Love" that will last the entire week. Wee-hoo!
You should have arrived here from Amy...if not, just hurry on back to her blog and then come right back here.

Photobucket

The theme: Vintage Love
We're going to be celebrating this card making style all week long.
Here's how it works:

Each DT Member will have one item listed for you on their blogs that you will use to create a card at the end of the week. These 11 items will make up a card recipe. There are some AMAZING Graphic 45 goodies to be won, courtesy of DT Member, Gloria Stengel (who is also on the G45 DT) - THREE HUGE PRIZES will be given away at the end of the week!!

There are 3 ways to win:
1) PRIZE #1: Participate in any or all of the 7 challenges from Sunday to Saturday. Doing so will earn you up to 7 chances to win a prize.
2) PRIZE #2: Participate in the Saturday, Card Recipe challenge, and there will be a separate drawing from among just those participants.
3) PRIZE #3: Leave comments on the Design Team blogs - each DT member will have her own rules for how you are to comment (possibly answering a question).

Rules:
Each card must be newly created for a 365 Cards challenge.
Direct links to your posts are required - if we have to search for the correct post, your card will not be counted.
You cannot combine 365 Cards challenges - if you do, your card will only count for one of the challenges.
If you like to combine card challenges from different blogs: You may combine a 365 Cards challenge with a challenge from only ONE other blog for the card entry to count (for example, a sketch challenge or color challenge from another blog). This is not a normal 365 Cards rule, but one we are using for the blog hop only.
You will have until Monday, November 29th, at 11:59 PM EST to link up your cards for the week. Any card that is posted after that time will not be included in the drawings.

******

Ok...now you have all the facts right and we can get down to business = )

The Sunday Sketch team had a gorgeous sketch to follow and I couldn´t resist creating two cards, especially since we had soo much goodies sponsored by our very generous Gloria Stengel. She sent us all a full load of goodies to play with. Thanks a lot Gloria! You are a true darling!

*******

And, without further notice...here´s the sketch.

...and here are a few pictures of my interpretation.... ; )

When I saw the sketch, I got stuck on the idea of making a purse card. Actually...it´s my first attempt on a purse card, but I liked it...might not be the last time... ; )

Here´s a close up on some details....specifically notice the button! That is my chosen item for the card recipe.

*******
And as a bonus...here´s what I came up with second time around...Enjoy!

That was all I had to share with you today. Now it´s time for you to hop on over to Tesa and check out what she has created. I´m sure it´s fabulous!
But before you´re off, don´t forget to leave a little comment here and answer this one simple question, in order to have your chance to win one of the great prizes. I might even have a little RAK for one of you...
And the question is...: What´s your favorite vintage item to ad to your cards?

Thanks for joining us in this fun blog hop. It´ll be one great week, that´s for sure!
Have a wonderful Sunday!
~Love~
