.: Sunday with Pixie Petals :.

Hi...!

I´m so happy to see you here.
Today we start our countdown to Christmas here in Sweden. It´s time to light the first, out of four, candles. It´s a very special day.

And it´s also time for me to share my Sunday card for 365 Cards with you.

This week we have been sponsored by Pixie Petals. Unfortunately, it seems like shes taking a break to re-arrange her shop. But keep checking it out...!

The Sunday sketch then...well, here it comes! = )

Perhaps I kind of cheated...concidering I added a few elements there...but hey! Rules are to be broken, right? ; )

I felt like doing an easelcard..and so I did!
I used the doilies that we were sponsored with...and the butterfly. I cropped one of the doilies, making one simple circle and then I used the left-overs to create the flower.

Ain´t she awesome! I just loooove her! She´s on of my new findings from KennyK Downloads.com . The have som seriously gorgeous...and naughty digis. I knew I just had to have some of them...
And I think that sentiment is very well suited with the naughty Santa´s babe, don´t you think so too?
Ok...hope you are going over to 365 Cards to check out the others sample cards. They´re fabbie!
And...please do come back here tomorrow when I announce the winner of my little RAK ! You don´t wanna miss that!
Well...that was all for now. Think I might be off to light the first candle with my family.
Have the best of days now!

.: Vintage Love Blog Hop :.

Hi...and welcome to another Sunday and the beginning of our blog hop!
I´m thrilled to announce that we, 365 Cards, are having a blog hop that we call "Vintage Love" that will last the entire week. Wee-hoo!
You should have arrived here from Amy...if not, just hurry on back to her blog and then come right back here.

Photobucket

The theme: Vintage Love
We're going to be celebrating this card making style all week long.
Here's how it works:

Each DT Member will have one item listed for you on their blogs that you will use to create a card at the end of the week. These 11 items will make up a card recipe. There are some AMAZING Graphic 45 goodies to be won, courtesy of DT Member, Gloria Stengel (who is also on the G45 DT) - THREE HUGE PRIZES will be given away at the end of the week!!

There are 3 ways to win:
1) PRIZE #1: Participate in any or all of the 7 challenges from Sunday to Saturday. Doing so will earn you up to 7 chances to win a prize.
2) PRIZE #2: Participate in the Saturday, Card Recipe challenge, and there will be a separate drawing from among just those participants.
3) PRIZE #3: Leave comments on the Design Team blogs - each DT member will have her own rules for how you are to comment (possibly answering a question).

Rules:
Each card must be newly created for a 365 Cards challenge.
Direct links to your posts are required - if we have to search for the correct post, your card will not be counted.
You cannot combine 365 Cards challenges - if you do, your card will only count for one of the challenges.
If you like to combine card challenges from different blogs: You may combine a 365 Cards challenge with a challenge from only ONE other blog for the card entry to count (for example, a sketch challenge or color challenge from another blog). This is not a normal 365 Cards rule, but one we are using for the blog hop only.
You will have until Monday, November 29th, at 11:59 PM EST to link up your cards for the week. Any card that is posted after that time will not be included in the drawings.

******

Ok...now you have all the facts right and we can get down to business = )

The Sunday Sketch team had a gorgeous sketch to follow and I couldn´t resist creating two cards, especially since we had soo much goodies sponsored by our very generous Gloria Stengel. She sent us all a full load of goodies to play with. Thanks a lot Gloria! You are a true darling!

*******

And, without further notice...here´s the sketch.

...and here are a few pictures of my interpretation.... ; )

When I saw the sketch, I got stuck on the idea of making a purse card. Actually...it´s my first attempt on a purse card, but I liked it...might not be the last time... ; )

Here´s a close up on some details....specifically notice the button! That is my chosen item for the card recipe.

*******
And as a bonus...here´s what I came up with second time around...Enjoy!

That was all I had to share with you today. Now it´s time for you to hop on over to Tesa and check out what she has created. I´m sure it´s fabulous!
But before you´re off, don´t forget to leave a little comment here and answer this one simple question, in order to have your chance to win one of the great prizes. I might even have a little RAK for one of you...
And the question is...: What´s your favorite vintage item to ad to your cards?

Thanks for joining us in this fun blog hop. It´ll be one great week, that´s for sure!
Have a wonderful Sunday!

.: Wink Wink Ink-week :.

"It´s a wonderful, wonderful life..." (Black)
Well...I actually have had this song stuck on my mind for a long time now...and I don´t really mind! Think it´s a great song...and, as I look outside my window, I can see the beauty of the snow and the happy smiles on my kids´faces when they play in the snow...and I think the song is actually right! It is a wonderful life!

But I think you are more interested in seeing what I have created these last few days, right?

And today it´s Sunday...and that means it´s time for a new Super Sketchy Sunday over at 365 Cards! Woot woot!
And this week we are also thrilled to have Wink Wink Ink sponsoring us with some lovely digis. I belive they are offering a grand prize for some lucky winner as well...

Ok...I said Super Sketchy Sunday...and that calls for a fabulous sketch by Pamela.
Have to say it... I just looooved this one! Think it´s great for Christmas... = )

And I stuck quite well to the sketch... didn´t even twist and turn it... LOL No cheating here, haha.

I printed the image onto smooth white Bazzill and then folded it. As always, I have been colouring it with distress inkpads and my precious waterbrush. Adding just a little touch of Glossy Accent to some details...

The sentiment also comes from Wink Wink Ink and I used my spellbinder dies to cut out that scallopped circle.
I wanted the edges to be distressed and looking kind of old...so I used "Tea Dye", "Vintage Photo" and "Walnut Stain" to get that look.
Ain´t that Christmas-tree awsome?! Think I´ll use it on some more cards this year.... ; )

Ok...I said I liked the sketch, right? In fact, I liked it so much that I couldn´t help making a 2:nd card...but I´m not gonna show that one right now. I´m having some trouble uploading it to this post.
And I don´t have the energy to re-do my blogging.... ; )
But hey...that gives you another reason to come back here, right?! ; )
Just don´t forget to stop by 365 Cards and check out all the dt sample cards..sure you´ll find some inspiration there...
Thanks for visiting...

.: Madeleine Design :.

.: Farsdags-kort i dubbel bemärkelse :.

Heeej...!

.: Prickley Pear week :.

Hi everyone...and welcome to Prickley Pear week over at 365 Cards!
This week PPRS are sponsoring us with some gorgeous stamps. And they also have one great prize for one lucky winner in our challenges. Don´t miss out on your chance to get some great rubberstamps...

This has been one crazy week for me... soo much to do and something that are not that pleasent...like attending my 2:nd funeral in 2 weeks...
But now that´s over and done.

Why I´m telling you this, is because I´m pretty late with this post on my Sunday card for 365 Cards. It were supposed to be posted last weekend...but hey! better late then never right? = )

Like always, Pamela had come up with a gorgeous sketch for us to interpret....
...and here´s what I made out of it...
That sentiment just makes me smile! Nice to be able to create a Christmascard with a little touch of humour = )

Don´t you just loooove that sweet little reindeer? Well, I know I do.

I have embossed it with silverwhite powder onto crisp white Bazzill. Then I just added some rhinestones and the label with sentiment.

It´s just as simple as that!

Here you´ll see it in full view.
What do you think of it...? Clean and simple, yet beautiful...or, at least that´s what I think.

Have you ever checked out all the fantastic cardchallenges we have for you over at 365 Cards...?
Well, there´s something for everyone. You should go see for yourself.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a lovely Saturday!
